New Design for this Blog
July 30th, 2006
I have received a fairly large number of emails from people who told me they had some difficulty reading this Blog because the colors I used apparently did not permit them to read the words and differentiate headlines from text. That disturbed me as the whole purpose of a Blog is so people can enjoy (or not) my ramblings. With that in mind, I decided to switch to a color scheme with better contrast that visitors will find easier to read.
One of the (many) neat things about using WordPress is the ability to change the theme and thus the color scheme with relative ease. It is also nice that there are a zillion excellent themes available on the Net.
For the new “look”, I have chosen what I think is a great design by Beng Hafner. I hope you all like this new design and the brighter colors and black on white text areas should help those who were having problems earlier. Let me know in the comments areas what are your thoughts! I am always open to suggestions!
Of course changing the look on a blog like this may present others unforeseen problems, so if anybody spots a “bug”, by all means let me know!

This looks much nicer now. To read before I just highlighted stuff which made it easy for me.
As for the website, Normally I just see the RSS feed, but when you “New Design” I have to go look.
Also, I keep gettting an XML error when I try update Hisfault via RSS. I figure you did on purpose to make go to your site and look.
And it works. Hope see you and ML at the end of February 2007
I love the new design! It is so crisp and fresh and very easy to read. Thank you!
Thanks!! 🙂
Now if I can just get the menu system at the TOP of each page to work in anything besides Firefox, I’ll be really happy!
