US Voting Process

February 26th, 2008

I was shocked and dismayed at this. Although I have no issue with the candidate who was elected, I am sad that much of the political drama in the upcoming 2008 election will now be somewhat less meaningful. I am, however, glad to see that the overt silliness of our political system will remain intact!

Was that for real? I don’t think so. They talked about assassination; I don’t think “they” would allow that.

The Onion is a spoof news site that mocks news and the way in which is portrayed. Early voting hasn’t even started for the general election.

I thought the video was quite amusing. The election is being followed quite closely here in Ireland. They tried to bring electronic voting in here but whilst the people were happy with it (as they felt elections would be fairer), the government were not.

“The Onion” is satire at its finest. They have print publications as well as online. Don’t be alarmed….it’s just satire.

I knew it…McCain was going to win all along…I had that gut feeling…and now its coming to pass…next time I’ll check my tarot cards…just to be sure.

LOL! The Onion is crazy fecicious (sp?) like that. If I’m not up on my politics, that publication will put me in the intellectual spin cycle.

Love the blog. Thanks for posting!
